San Joaquin Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous

A fun, compassionate, and supportive community for young people seeking to embrace sobriety and navigate the journey of quitting alcohol.

Who We Are

San Joaquin Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous (SANJYPAA) was started in 2023 as way to reach out to young people in the San Joaquin area that are suffering from alcoholism.

SANJYPAA hopes to provide a positive support network and useful resources for anyone navigating their journey of recovery.

About Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anoymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Make a Contribution

A.A.’s Seventh Tradition states:  “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.”  This means that only A.A. members contribute financially to A.A. – and even A.A. members are limited in the amount they can contribute.

This keeps A.A. free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose — to help the alcoholic who still suffers. The amount of the contribution is secondary to the spiritual connection that unites all groups around the world.

If you’re a current member of A.A. you can click the button below to contribute to SANJYPAA.
